It may be only August, but I just got my new
Trick or Treat with Who's That Girl, and I had to ink her up! I love the fall season, and have always enjoyed Halloween. I am happy to start early so a have a few things ready to go. I can tell that this stamp will be a favorite. For my first used of the stamp I went with a vintage, more adult style, perfect for a co-workers, but next I will probably go a different direction and do something for a younger child! I also added a little matching treat box so I can add a little chocolate!
This project is for this week My Favorite Challenge in the MFT Forum at Splitcoast. The challenge was to use black and white or another neutral, only adding color to the image. For the card I created a front door scene, drawing in the tile entryway, using my scorepal to add some texture to the house, and added I pieced in potted plant. The papers are from Cosmo Crickett and the dress is pieced. The image is colored with Copics. The edges of the paper are sponged with distressing ink. I added brads to the corners, lace, ribbon, and a charm that says "Trick or Treat".
A long as I had everything out, I decided to add a little treat box. This cute little treat box is actually from the
MFT kit I bought last month. I covered the box with the paper I used on the card. I colored a portion of the stamp image, cut it out with my nestibilities, added some lace that matched the card, and tied a ribbon around the box. The sentiment is included in the set.
Thank for looking. Looking forward to more holiday stamping!
